The Creature Comforts Masters

I'm here to talk about a place that I'm sure we all love, Creature Comforts. Whether you are looking for a place to pregame, a causal hangout to take a break from homework, a place to listen to cool musicians, or access to events such as the weekly farmer's market, this is your answer! 

In addition to their year around beers: Tropicalia, Athena, Reclaimed Rye, and Bibo; they also feature a large variety of seasonal and new release beers. Some of their most recent being a "Classic City Lager." Not only is the beer delicious, but you feel like a part of something when you go and support local businesses such as Creature Comforts. They even promote other local businesses by giving you an "eat local" coupon with the purchase of a wristband. How cool is that? To see local businesses supporting and working together with other local businesses. This priority on locality encourages people to chose Creature Comforts because they know the company, have seen it grow, and is a part of the close-knit Athens community. 

The idea of shopping or should I say "drinking" locally is not the only thing that draws customers into Creature Comforts. The many special nights and events held at Creature Comforts bring in large numbers of people across the community. They feature "Meet the Artist" nights, gallery viewings, service industry nights, performances by local musicians and bands, and my personal favorite, the Athens Farmers Market. These nights appeal to different crowds, and Creature does a great job at using these nights to bring in these crowds. But let's talk about the farmers market really quick. If you haven't been, you need to go this Wednesday from 4-7! You can enjoy your beer while shopping for some veggies. But get this, if you purchase a sampling tour from Creature Comforts during the farmers market, you get $4 back in farmers market tokens. This is free money to use on anything at the market! Talk about incentive. This strategy used by Creature Comforts is a great way to promote sales while also continuing to promote the Athens community and local farmers.
